I am a freelance wildlife photographer and have worked as a professional wildlife ecologist from the day I graduated university. Throughout my life I traveled around North America, Central America, South America, and Europe to work on specific wildlife projects for a different array of companies and to photograph wildlife whenever I could. Even on vacation I traveled to exotic locations around the world to experience whatever nature had to offer and to photograph wildlife at every opportunity. A few years ago I made it my personal goal to find and photograph every reptile and amphibian species in Ontario, Canada. It took five years of traveling and intense searching but it led to producing my first identification Field Guide – Reptiles of Ontario, with a second Field Guide – Amphibians of Ontario, in progress. Today I continue traveling to satisfy my incessant drive to be outdoors and pursue new photographic adventures.

But now the time has come for me to share my years of knowledge, both as a wildlife photographer and wildlife field ecologist. I love teaching so besides adding new photographs and videos to this website, I will be providing photographic techniques as well as educational courses (Url address) to those of you who want to improve their photographic skills and increase their knowledge of wildlife.
